I'm often making small improvements to DTSA-II but it is quite a bureaucratic hassle to get the updates to the NIST website :-\. If you are a little adventurous and want to have access to the latest pre-release version, you can download it from here:

It won't be as extensively tested as the release version but it will often have bug fixes that haven't yet made it to release. You win some, you lose some...
Thank you for the prerelease.jar file. I updated my installations on my PC and on Parallels Virtual Machines on my MacBook. The prerelease works fine. The OS changes on mac make it easier to keep VMs that run the Windows software I use... I appreciate the work you put into maintaining this...
Best Regards,
John Minter
is not github development branch more up to date?
Yes, Github is sometime ahead of even this version but this link is to an compiled version with an installer - much friendlier... :)
The DTSA-II pre-release version has been updated with:
- The bulk Monte Carlo has been enhanced with tabulated values for the radial extent of emission.
- A bug (regression) parsing the Glass Database data has been resolved.

Thank you. These work as expected on MacOS and Win10.
