Title: msds
Post by: Ben Buse on July 24, 2025, 06:21:26 AM
What's the consensus when sharpening carbon and msds?

MicroToNano carbon data sheet - carbon for 'Target material, evaporation material, supports for sample preparation,' lists no ppe, but mentions possible eye irritation

SPI carbon evaporation rods mentions possible eye and skin irritation and possible dust generation and lists safety glasses when sharpening

Agar don't have a msds for their carbon rods

How can sharpening a carbon rod be any different from sharpening a pencil?  They both are graphite.
