Title: Read spectrometer peak and PHA
Post by: Ben Buse on October 30, 2025, 06:12:01 AM
Hi

Is there anyway to read the peak and PHA from spectrometer, when 'Move' doesn't recognise the element?

Thanks

Ben

To read all the PHA parameters for all spectrometers, you can use this handy new button:

To read the PHA settings for a single spectrometer, use the Get PHA button in the PHA window. To read the current spectrometer position as the on-peak position for an element, use this button:

That looks nice, thanks for those options, I'll have to give them a try.

I found I can also do it through move, by selecting the element for each spectrometer first using the periodic table button, and then clicking update - to update the default positions, with the current positions. Then in elements window load from the move positions.
