We are decommissioning our SX50 instrument and trying to decide which parts we might want to keep as spares for the SX100. 

The stage on the SX50 was rebuilt about 10 years ago and is in pretty good shape.   Does anyone know if the stage itself or stage parts from the SX50 can be used in the SX100?
The only stupid question is the one not asked!
