Importing Mineral Standard compositions into JEOL microprobe

Hi All

I am in the midst of getting a new JEOL JXA iSP-100 installed in my lab. I come from working on a Cameca SX-100 for the last 28 years and now have to convert to a JEOL. Lots and lots of new learning.....

I have a question for you.

The SX-100 had all of the mineral standard information stored in a single sx.mdb file, which I learned to edit and could avoid putting the data in through the Peaksight software (which saved a lot of time). John D. tells me that each of the JEOL standards are separate files located in separate folders. Does anyone know of a way to convert either the Cameca sx.mdb file or even an Excel spreadsheet with all of the mineral composition data into the files I need for the JEOL system. I am getting PfE in November-December and John D has already given me the program to convert the sx.mdb file to the PfE format.  I hope to use PfE for the majority of my analysis but still need the data on the JEOL system. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.  Thanks Joe
