But for displaying already acquired sample positions from the Analyze! window we've added a feature that was only available for digitized points which is to display only the points for a single selected sample in the Analyze! window:

This is nice. Any chance it could be made to work for multiple selected samples? For when an analytical session involves several sample changes and several picture changes? I currently disable the other points. Although alternatively for each sample change I would have to make a new file. (It would be also good to have ability refresh/reload content for when display options already checked, maybe in form of button or when image loaded?)

What I do also like and only found recently is the disable z option and allow picture snap to only move in x and y -which is great where samples different heights - a very nice feature

These are good ideas.

After a bit of work, we were able to modify the selected sample option from the Run menu to allow selection of a single or multiple samples in the Analyze! sample list to be displayed on the PictureSnap image:



In fact it's such a good idea that we did the same for the display of digitized points from the Automate! window:



In addition we modified the click events in both the Analyze! sample list and the Automate! position list to update the display in PictureSnap automatically.



Update as usual from the Help | Update Probe for EPMA menu...

Based on suggestions from Gareth Seward in addition to the Home key press feature:

we've added another new feature to the PictureSnap (and PictureSnapApp) full view window which is that a right double click using the mouse on the full view image window, will move the main image to that location without moving the stage.

The only complication is in Probe for EPMA when the Use Right Mouse Click To Digitize Positions menu is checked in the PictureSnap window.  If this menu is checked then a right mouse click or double-click digitizes a point in the Automate! window instead. However, I added code to ignore the right click (click or double-click) if the Automate! window is not visible  But if the menu is not checked it works fine as expected and just moves the main image to that location.
