Which PHA mode would you prefer to be the default (can be changed) when using the Peaking dialog?

Normal PHA scan (Cameca)
Bias scan (Cameca)
Gain scan (Cameca)
Normal PHA scan (JEOL)
Bias Scan (JEOL)

We've been asked to add a new keyword to the Probewin.ini file when acquiring PHA scans, either prior to or after the peaking scan (or both before and after the peaking scan).

This new keyword will be in the [hardware] section of the probewin.ini file and is defined as follows:

0 = Normal PHA scan, 1 = Bias scan, 2 = Gain scan (not available for JEOL).

What we are interested is what your preference is for JEOL versus Cameca users.

By the way, the new keyword for this default in the Probewin.ini file is

[hardware]
AutomatedPHAParameterDialogTypeFlag=0

Regardless of the software defaults for JEOL and Cameca that we eventually settle on, one can change this default for their specific lab, by simply editing this value.

In case it is not clear, we are referring to these PHA options in the Peaking dialog:
