Hi

Has anyone seen a 'A FRAME ERROR' on Edwards Auto 306?

Unfortunately I didn't take a picture, after Fine Pumping appeared.

Here's next question where should the blue wire in the attached photos be attached. I think it tells the system whether the diffusion pump has warmed up, and with it disconnected it assumes the diff pump has already warmed up

There are some really fantastically helpful images of the Edwards Auto 306 on the UniGreenScheme website, in particular this one:

This looks like the plug you're referring to, and seems to be missing from your images. I suppose the next question is why is it disconnected? Please make sure that unit is unplugged and properly powered down/discharged before you go inside the case!

NB it might be worth downloading all the images from that website locally.
Link here and another one here

The instruction and maintenance manuals for the turbo version of the 306 are also online at U.Arizona here and here

It's labelled in diff pump manual https://www.precisionplus.com/medias/1-Manual-Edwards-EO-EO2K-EO4K-EO6K.pdf?context=bWFzdGVyfHJvb3R8MTQ1MDAzMnxhcHBsaWNhdGlvbi9wZGZ8YURJMUwyZ3hOQzh4TmpNME5EWTFOVFUyTURjek5DOHhYMDFoYm5WaGJGOUZaSGRoY21SelgwVlBYMFZQTWt0ZlJVODBTMTlGVHpaTExuQmtaZ3xlMDhlZTdkN2QxZWZiNWQ4NmFkODI4NzRhNGY3YjI3ZmVkMjI4MGRiY2UxODhjMTBkMGNhZjBjYzNmNzdlZDU3&attachment=true as pump ready thermal snap switch B02304000. Part no longer available but not essential, without it, it just assumes diff pump already warmed up, because of how it's broke, so metal contact no longer being pushed down by the base.

Switches detailed here https://www.idealvac.com/files/brochures/edwards_diffusion_pumps.pdf

I'll be getting a alternative comparable thermal switch
