EDS/WDS integration on JEOL probes

We've recently made some improvements to the JEOL (MEC) EDS interface found on some iSP100/iHP200F instruments (for those not using a Bruker EDS on their JEOL EPMA instrument). However, in testing the code we discovered that we no longer need to set the probe to beam scan mode for EDS acquisition.  To be honest we're not sure why we thought we need to in the first place!

Anyway, please update your Probe for EPMA software using the Help menu as usual and check out the integrated EDS and WDS quant for point analyses.
