Does anyone know how to permanently change the "speed" values in the PeakSight (6.2) Joystick app?

I can change them from their default values (9), but as soon as I re-start the app it reverts to the values (of 9) again.

Hi John
My apologies but this isn't going to be too helpful other than I have sped mine up and they stay on my set number even if i restart everything. A permissions thing again?

Cheers

The joystick on our SX100 has gotten worn out (it keeps getting more and more decentered even after running the Window calibration app).

Cameca wants $1600 for a new joystick which is a rip.  Can anyone suggest an off-the-shelf joystick that we can use with the Cameca Joystick app?

I had seen nowhere where to set which joystick to use in cameca software, I am not sure if other joystick will be recognized by peaksight. These Megatron joysticks (which Cameca resells) looks to be professional, and thus its costs are professional as well. I can't see which of device is the joystic in windows - which is a good sign - it means joystic is just USB class compliant HID device - and if there is no drivers needed, Peaksight most probably uses the first HID device recognized by Windows through the universal windows API. I would try at first some cheap gaming (actually some can be very expensive) joystic, and see if peaksight will recognise it as joystic.

A little bird suggested we take a look at these joysticks:

They seem to be the same manufacturer and similar model and similar button layout.  For $100 it's certainly worth a look.
