surfer color palette colorblind

Hi,

I've made a color palette for surfer based on viridis (but with lower excluded data black and upper excluded data white) for surfer

I've attached the color palette

Does any one else have any good color palettes

Also there's a good plugin for imagej which shows what an image would look like

Just to add the pictures (a) beam scan map spectrometer out of focus using viridis modified color palette
(b-d) simulated colorbind - using vischeck in imagej

I see the point in this, but I transformed some of my maps into viridis. They are now kind of ugly to look at. Almost hurts.

I know nothing about color blindness, but are colorblind people unable to see a thermal color scale like this:

I can see this scale quite well.  If I need to colour maps this is what I use. I actually find that it's a bit more useful than gray scale.

I can't speak for other colour blind people but it works for me.
