Synthetic sphalerite, solid solution controlled

I am wondering if anyone knows whether sphalerite can by synthesized with specific Zn/Fe ratios, and if so, are such synthesized materials available? I have seen plenty of mention about synthetic sphalerite in papers, but do not have the background to know how tunable the synthesis process is to varying the Zn-Fe solid solution.
