Just a quick note to confirm to everyone, that not only is our free CalcZAF/Standard EPMA utility software freely distributable, but our Probe for EPMA,Probe Image and CalcImage products are also available to all users for off-line re-processing, export and presentation output on as many computers as desired. Installations on off-line lab, office and/or home computers are all allowed.

In fact, if a colleague of yours runs on your instrument, they can also freely obtain a copy to take with them for off-line processing as well!

By the way, this is a the same software licensing agreement that Thermo NSS has- for re-processing you may copy the software as much as you want to!

Can NSS run on modern/64-bit versions of Windows yet?

Yes. NSS runs on 64-bit OS. Running 64-bit is actively encouraged.

Also note that one can utilize Probe for EPMA for teaching EPMA on off-line computers in "demo" mode for zero cost:

The only stupid question is the one not asked!
